Today Good Wood unveils our “Inspired By HBO’s How to Make it in America Capsule Collection” today, on sale as of
October 5th at noon, exclusively at Jackthreads.
GoodWood created three pieces in our hand-made signature woodworking style for the sale,
all inspired by the show:
• Luis Guzman Chain
• Popping Bottles Pendant
“I wanted to tap into the theme of success,” says GoodWood founder and head designer Kerri
O’Connell. “The champagne bottle is the ultimate sign of success, and the eagle riding a
skateboard is a celebration of youth culture.” She added, “And Luis Guzman is my favorite
character on the show.”
The HTMIIA Capsule Collection is a collaboration between the show and three leading
streetwear brands: Мишка (Mishka NYC), GoodWood, and Dr. Romanelli. Each brand was
chosen for their embodiment of the downtown culture portrayed on the show. As part of the
collection, each brand drew inspiration from HTMIIA to create original pieces available during
weekly “pop up stores” on Jackthreads.com.
